Scan a card. See its value in euros.
Point your camera at a trading card. Card Value recognises it right on your iPhone, shows the current Cardmarket market price in euros and adds up what your whole collection is worth, set by set.

What Card Value does
Few features, done properly. Everything is included in one plan.
Recognised on your iPhone
Card Value reads the card name and the collector number (like 045/165) with on-device text recognition and matches them against more than 21,000 German and English cards from over 200 sets. Only if a card is hard to read does the photo go once to the AI recognition.
Euro prices from Cardmarket
Trend, low price, 7 and 30 day average, kept apart for the regular print and the reverse holo. The TCGplayer price in dollars sits next to it. Updated daily.
Scan a whole binder page
Photograph a 9 pocket page and get all nine cards with their prices and the page total in one go.
Set checklists
See which cards of a set you own and which are missing, filter by variant and share your missing list.
Collection value
Total value of your collection, the change since you added each card and a value history.
Explore and wishlist
Search every card in the database, browse popular sets and keep a wishlist with its total value.
What it looks like
Screens from the app. The cards shown are sample artwork, not real cards.

Built for Pokémon cards in German and English
Card Value is built for the Pokémon Trading Card Game: German and English cards from the first sets to the newest expansions, including promos and gallery subsets. Recognition reads the collector number, so it works the same for both languages.
Prices come from Europe first. You see the Cardmarket market price in euros, with the US price from TCGplayer in dollars next to it. A note in the app reminds you that the Cardmarket price applies to the card across all Western languages.
Card Value is an independent app and is not affiliated with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures or GAME FREAK.

How it works
- Frame the card
Hold the card in the frame, a sleeve is fine. Or pick a photo from your library.
- Confirm the match
Name, set, number, rarity and language. If the app is unsure, it shows alternatives.
- Pick the variant, track the value
Normal, holo or reverse holo. Add it to your collection and watch its value.
How Card Value determines the value
The number you see is market data, not an appraisal. Card Value shows the Cardmarket price trend for the card and variant you picked, together with the 30 day and 7 day averages and the lowest current price. The data comes through the open TCGdex database and is refreshed daily.
What the app cannot see is the condition of your copy. A card with whitened edges sells for less, a graded card is a market of its own. The guides below explain how to judge both.
One plan. Everything included.

What does Card Value cost?
The download is free. Card Value Plus includes everything and comes as a weekly or a yearly subscription: weekly with a 3 day free trial, then 2,99 € per week, or yearly for 39,99 €, which is about 0,77 € per week and 74% less than paying weekly (German App Store prices). There is no ad supported version.
When will Card Value be available?
Card Value is finished and is being prepared for the App Store. The App Store button on this page leads to the app as soon as it is live.
How accurate are the prices?
Prices are market data from Cardmarket (EUR) and TCGplayer (USD), provided through the open TCGdex database and updated daily. They describe the market for a card in the selected variant, not the condition or grading of your copy. They are estimates for information, not an appraisal or a purchase offer.
Which cards are supported?
Pokémon Trading Card Game cards in German and English, from the first sets to the newest expansions, including promos and gallery subsets. Card Value is not affiliated with The Pokémon Company or Nintendo.
Does it work offline?
Recognition happens on your iPhone and works offline. Prices and card images are loaded from the internet and cached for 24 hours, so your collection keeps showing the last known values without a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign up, no login and no cloud sync. Your collection stays on your iPhone. You can delete all data in the settings at any time.
